The solution
How Meteor automates your education operation
Admissions
It answers costs, requirements and dates on the spot, stores each detail in its own field, books the meeting with an advisor and schedules the reminder for the next step.
Your institution’s offering, always current
The Met reads your institution’s official site and answers with what is published today (programs, delivery modes, prices and contacts), saying which page it came from and on what date. The reading runs against a declared list of sites.
Arguments backed by official figures
It queries SNIES, the Colombian Ministry of Education’s higher-education system (enrollment, program catalog, accreditation), and ICFES Saber Pro exam results, to answer the applicant who is comparing institutions.
The question that actually decides: and then what?
It answers with the Observatorio Laboral (OLE): starting salary and formally employed graduates by program, plus live vacancies from the Servicio Público de Empleo by profile and region.
Market intelligence for the team
Enrollment by department, institution and level, plus the RUES business registry by sector and city, to decide where to open a program and where to concentrate spend.
Follow-up and publishing by program
The reminder for the next step is scheduled and goes out as an approved WhatsApp template, one at a time. And the campaign for each program is published to Facebook and Instagram from the same workspace.

The limits
What Meteor does NOT do in education
We would rather say it here than have you find out during implementation.
-
Meteor does not integrate with any academic system. It does not read grades, certificates, attendance or the LMS, and it does not enroll anyone: the application fee is a payment link, and formal enrollment still happens in the institution’s system.
-
SNIES is aggregate information: it carries no individual student data, it does not cover primary, secondary or vocational training, and its live enrollment lookup reaches 2021.
-
Saber Pro answers group averages between 2018 and 2022. It does not return one person’s result and it does not predict anyone’s.
-
In the Observatorio Laboral, “graduates” means those paying into social security, which is an indication of formal employment and not an employment rate; and income is an estimate in minimum-wage bands, not one graduate’s salary.
-
Reading the official site runs against a declared list of sites, not against any address on the internet. That is what keeps the Met from quoting a page that is not your institution’s.
-
All five data sources are Colombian government registries. Outside Colombia the Met still answers, books and charges, but without those figures behind it.
-
It does not send bulk messages. Reminders go out one at a time and as an approved template, because outside the conversation window WhatsApp only allows templates.
-
Publishing to Facebook and Instagram is organic. It does not buy or manage paid media, and it does not return reach metrics.

Questions about Meteor in education
From five official Colombian government sources, all open data with no credentials to obtain: SNIES from the Ministry of Education (enrollment and program catalog), ICFES Saber Pro results, the Observatorio Laboral para la Educación (graduate employability and income), the official Servicio Público de Empleo search (live vacancies) and RUES together with the ranking of the largest companies (business registry). The Met says which source each figure came from.
No. Meteor does not read grades, certificates, attendance or LMS content, because that integration does not exist. The work it does handle is admissions and support: answering, arguing with figures, booking, charging the application fee and following up. We say it here, not in the fine print.
Yes, by reading the institution’s official site at the moment it answers, and saying which page it took it from and on what date. That avoids the most common failure in these projects, which is leaving prices written inside the Met and finding out six months later that nobody updated them. The reading runs against a declared list of sites.
It gives the Observatorio Laboral figure by its proper name: the estimated income of people who graduated from that program and are paying into social security, with its cut-off year, filtering recent cohorts when the question is about starting salary. It is an estimate in bands, not a salary promise, and the Met says so.
It can charge the application fee with a payment link and confirm the payment landed before treating the place as reserved. Formal enrollment happens in the institution’s system: Meteor does not write there.
Support, scheduling, payments and follow-up do, because none of that depends on the country. What does not travel are the five data sources: SNIES, Saber Pro, the Observatorio Laboral, the Servicio Público de Empleo and RUES are Colombian registries.
Yes, and it is the part people least expect. With enrollment by department, institution and level, the program catalog and the business registry by sector and city, the Met answers where the demand is, whether a program is already saturated and who hires that profile. It is information for deciding where to open a program, not something to send an applicant.
