How does Cal.com connect to Meteor?
Meteor talks to the Cal.com v2 API so your Met can read the event types you offer, return the open times between two dates, create the booking with the attendee details, retrieve it and cancel it. It supports several Cal.com accounts in one workspace, which is what a business with multiple locations or multiple providers actually needs.

Book inside the conversation
Your Met reads the event types, offers the open times for the date the customer asks about, and creates the booking with their name, email and time zone.
Run several locations or providers
When more than one account is connected, your Met lists them first and uses the one that matches the location or the provider being discussed.
Cancel without a phone call
The customer says they cannot make it, and your Met cancels the booking by its identifier, with the reason they gave, so it stays on the record.

The limits
What the Cal.com integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.

It does not configure Cal.com. Event types, durations and availability are defined in Cal.com, and your Met reads and uses them.

It does not reschedule in one step. Moving a booking means canceling it and creating another, unlike Meteor's native scheduling, which reschedules directly.

It does not charge for the booking or handle deposits.

It does not convert times to UTC inside the conversation. It uses the exact value returned by the availability call, because rebuilding a time is how bookings land on the wrong slot.

You connect it from the Meteor panel. If you run several locations or providers, connect several accounts and label each one.

You define them in Cal.com with their duration and availability. Your Met reads them and does not create them.
