How does Mercado Libre connect to Meteor?
Meteor connects your WooCommerce catalog to Mercado Libre and gives your Met 23 tools to list products and keep those listings current: predict the category, read the required attributes, publish, recalculate the sale price so you net what the product is worth in your own store, mirror stock with a safety buffer, run a compliance check before listing and audit after. WooCommerce stays the source of truth, and Mercado Libre is the mirror.
Where it applies: Colombia. The connector works on the Colombian Mercado Libre site and checks veterinary products against the official ICA registry before listing them.

The price is not copied across. Your Met recalculates it with the real category fee, taxes and shipping, so what you take home on the sale is your store price.

The limits
What the Mercado Libre integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.

It does not touch listings you do not manage. It works only on the ones carrying your SKU, and whatever was already on the account is left alone on purpose.

It does not guarantee the marketplace will approve a listing. The pre-check lowers the risk and the audit catches the rest, but the final call belongs to the marketplace.

It does not handle marketplace logistics or print shipping labels. It reads sales, and fulfillment stays where it already is.

It does not answer buyer questions or messages inside Mercado Libre. Meteor conversations live on WhatsApp and the other connected channels.

What you need to connect Mercado Libre

Your own application in Mercado Libre
You create it in the marketplace developer portal, and it gives you the app id and the app secret.

An access token and a refresh token
Generated once when you authorize the app with your seller account. The access token refreshes itself every six hours.

A connected WooCommerce store
It is the source of truth for price and stock. Without it the sync has nothing to compare against.

Because if it matched, you would take home less. The marketplace deducts a fee and, depending on the amount, shipping. The connector calculates the sale price so what is left for you equals your store price, using the real fee for that category.
No. It works only on listings carrying your SKU. Pre-existing ones are identified in the census and stay out of the sync on purpose.
They are checked against the official ICA registry. If the registration is canceled, the listing is blocked. Uploading it is exposure to a penalty, not a sales opportunity.
