Google Trends and Meteor AI agents
Query Google Trends from a Meteor Met: interest over time, interest by region, related searches and what is trending today. Nothing to configure.
How does Google Trends connect to Meteor?
Meteor queries Google Trends so your Met answers with data instead of instinct: the popularity of up to five terms compared over time, their interest by country, region or city, related searches and topics including the ones on the way up, what is trending today and what is trending in the last few hours. That is 7 tools, with no account to configure.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Google Trends
Pick the content topic with evidence
Before writing, your Met compares the candidate terms over time and checks which ones are rising, instead of betting on the one that sounds best.
Learn what your customers actually call it
Related searches and topics tell you the words your customer really uses, which are almost never the words in your brochure.
Decide where to sell
Interest by region shows which cities or states have demand for the product, before you open an operation there.
React to what is happening today
Today's trends and the last few hours let you attach a post to a live topic while it is still live.

Everything your Met can ask Google Trends for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.

The limits
What the Google Trends integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not give absolute search volume. Google Trends returns a relative index from zero to one hundred, not how many people searched for something.
-
It does not do keyword research with difficulty and cost per click. Dedicated SEO tools cover that ground.
-
It does not publish or execute anything. It is a source you consult in order to decide.
-
It does not use data from your own site. Search Console covers that, inside the Google Workspace integration.

What you need to connect Google Trends
- 1
Nothing on your side
The query runs through a platform key that lives on the Meteor server. There is no account to create and no credential to configure per workspace.
